We have an exciting opportunity for a Sonographer to join our growing Bay of Plenty team.

This is a permanent position, and we are open to full-time and part-time applicants.
  
In this role, you will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services while delivering an exceptional experience for patients, referrers and colleagues. You will be supported by an experienced clinical team and have opportunities to further develop your skills across a broad range of ultrasound examinations.

In this role you will be:
  • Performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations
  • Providing compassionate, patient-centred care throughout each examination
  • Explaining procedures clearly and ensuring patients feel informed and supported
  • Working collaboratively with radiologists, referrers and clinical colleagues
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and examination documentation
  • Participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
  • Contributing to a positive team environment focused on excellence and patient outcomes

We are looking for someone who:
  • Is registered with the New Zealand MRTB and holds a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Is committed to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
  • Brings a positive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach to their work
